Experimental Perfume Club is a fragrance laboratory in London specializing in bespoke perfume design. This perfume club offers different workshops, where you can learn the process of creating the fragrance and a bespoke perfume creation to make you smell the most unique way.
In Summer 2018 Experimental Perfume Club has launched its Layers collection, that includes three fragrances designed to be worn individually or allowing wearers to create their own unique scent.
It is a great chance to bring some creativity in your daily perfume routine and to experiment with different scents in order to create your unique perfume.
Today I review the Layers collection Experimental Perfume Club and tell you more about this interesting project.
Experimental Perfume Club was founded by Emmanuelle Moeglin, a professional perfumer with over 12 years’ experience working in the fragrance industry.
In EPC, Emmanuelle teaches perfumery during the workshops and design fragrances for business and for EPC’ s own brand.
The idea of EPC is to make the art of perfumery closer to the world and to give people a possibility to create beautiful fragrance by their own hands.
That is why Experimental Perfume Club hosts a number of perfume-making workshops and one-to-one private consultations, as well as open-access perfumery sessions.
And now they offer to all perfume lovers their Layers collection to make the dreams of people about creating their own unique fragrance come true. And this is even without leaving your home.
Review of the Layers collection Experimental Perfume Club
Layers \ 01 is the first fragrance collection by Experimental Perfume Club. As I said before, it features three fragrances that can be worn individually or can be blended in order to create your own perfume.
Each Layer represents the top, middle and base: the three important parts of any fragrance. All Layers within one collection are designed to complement one another.
Top Layer of this collection is represented by a refreshing but at the same time deep citrus-spicy fragrance. This layer consists of bergamot, juniper berry and incense oils, olibanum and iris resinoids and tea notes.
This fragrance is very pleasant even by itself, without any other layers. It has the bright citrus scent, surrounded by some smoky and woody accents and an almost invisible sweetness.

Middle Layer of the first fragrance collection by EPC has the tender and beautiful white floral scent. This fragrance consists of jasmine sambac absolute, osmanthus absolute, and frangipani flowers.
This charming floral bouquet is surrounded by light mineral notes. This fragrance has very saturated and gorgeous scent of white flowers.
Base Layer is represented by woody-musky fragrance featuring creamy sandalwood and sensual ambroxan notes. These notes are framed by pink peppercorn, vetiver and leather suede.
It is the intensive and strong fragrance that can be worn individually or will be a great base for your own perfume.
You can blend each fragrance with the other Layers in different combinations and each time you will get something new.
If you purchase the fragrance collection of Experimental Perfume Club, you will get three fragrances, one pipette and one empty bottle for your own perfume.
You will also get the instruction and formulas which you can use to create your first unique fragrance (or you can make it with your own formula).
I am very interested in the art of perfumery and I practice creating perfumes by myself for a long time. I think that the Layers collection Experimental Perfume Club is the great chance to learn something about perfume making and to create your first real fragrance.
You don’t need to search for any other information or to prepare yourself. All you need is to follow your heart and instruction that you get with the Layers collection.
You will create your own unique perfume very fast, and who knows, maybe it is just the beginning of your perfume making career?
P.S. I enjoy the wearing of Top Layer by itself and I find this fragrance very pleasant and playful. I have also layered all three fragrances and I have received very interesting deep floral scent with some citrus and woody accents.
I will experiment more in layering all fragrances and in blending my own scent with all three layers.
It was my review of the Layers collection Experimental Perfume Club, and I hope you enjoyed it.
