Eau de Couvent is a perfume brand, created by the artist Candida Romero in order to restore the abandoned  Convent of Saint Francois in Corsica. You can read my full post about this unique project here.

Today I review the Eau de Couvent fragrances, which epitomize the beauty and harmony of the old convent and nature that surrounds this place.

Candida Romero, the founder of Eau de Couvent, decided to create her own fragrance while wandering through the high grass of the Corsican scrub near her favorite  Convent of Saint Francois.

In that grass, she has found a crystal bottle, which emanated fresh and delightful fragrance that she knew she must immortalize it at any cost, especially since the legend ran that a nun gave it to a young officer as a love token.

The name of this fragrance was obvious for Candida – Eau de Couvent.
