Perfume Review of Ambre de Siam Volnay Parfums
Inspired by the time of the French colonial empire, particularly colonization of Vietnam, this perfume takes us to the universe of the most exotic scents. In that part of the world, the air is filled with the tantalizing aroma of the woods, that creates such a magical and charming atmosphere.
And in Ambre de Siam by Volnay Parfums you can experience this atmosphere in all its glory.
This perfume opens with the bright and bracing scent, that impresses you from the first second. The note of green tea gives this perfume its delightful and refined aroma, that is beautifully surrounded by the refreshing note of bergamot.
Ginger brings to the opening of Ambre de Siam its unique spicy sound.
After a while, a deep and heady woody-ambery heart appears. The duo of sandalwood and cedarwood sets the tone for this alluring fragrance, while the note of amber wood makes the sound of Ambre de Siam warm, balsamic and brings to this perfume its sensual animalic accent.
Amber wood or Liquidambar styraciflua is a tree that produces a fragrant resin called Styrax. Because of the rich and warm ambery scent, this resin is also called grey amber and is widely used in perfumery.
