The Story of 1907 Perfumes
1907 perfume brand was founded by a granddaughter in honor to her grandmother and was named after the year of her birth. The grandparents of Evka, the founder of 1907 perfumes, had a close relationship with countess Stepan, and count Andrassy.
Grandmother of 1907’s founder supplied the counts court with cosmetics which she made herself with a lot of love in order to prolong the life of beauty. The recipe of grandmother’s violet-lily eau de cologne, Evka guards till today.
A visit to the capital of perfumery Grasse and fascinating life of her grandmother have inspired Evka to found 1907 perfumes. Lily, the symbol of this brand, incarnates the purity and nobility.
1907 decided to produce a limited amount of perfumes (only 1000 bottles per year), exactly as grandmother did in the past.
This exclusivity and classical beauty of 1907 perfumes invite us on a journey back in time, and today we use a time machine, that is called Genevieve.
Fragrance Review of Genevieve 1907 Perfumes
Genevieve perfume opens with a bright aldehydic note that gives this perfume its fresh, airy and light floral scent. Aldehydes make this perfume more expressive and frame all other notes.
Citrus notes give this fragrance their refreshing and radiant sound, while the note of clove makes the opening of Genevieve perfume a little spicy and warm.
The heart of Genevieve perfume consists of a beautiful and elegant floral bouquet. Ylang-ylang gives this fragrance its heady and sweet floral scent, that is surrounded by the tender and refined note of rose and sensual, alluring and a little sweet note of jasmine.
Orris makes this floral bouquet powdery and soft, while the note of lily of the valley gives this perfume its beautiful and lightweight scent with an almost invisible coldness.
