L’Orchestre Parfum is a French niche perfume house, created by the perfumer and musician Pierre Guguen in order to combine his two passions: perfumes and music.
As a result, we can enjoy wearing 5 beautiful and impressive perfumes and listening to 5 wonderful pieces of music. I have already told you about 4 fragrances by L’orchestre Parfum.
Today I review Encens Asakusa L’Orchestre Parfum, alluring smoky-powdery fragrance.
Perfume Review of Encens Asakusa L’Orchestre Parfum
This fragrance by L’Orchestre Parfum is inspired by the holy temple in Tokyo, Japan. There is a district in Tokyo, that is called Asakusa. This district is very famous for Sensoji, a Buddhist temple dedicated to the bodhisattva Kannon and for other temples.
At Sensoji there is a large incense burner, that is called Jokoro. A lot of visitors always gather around Jokoro and burn incense. They believe that the smoke from the incense burner purifies the body and has a healing effect.
The musical inspiration of Encens Asakusa comes from the koto, Japanese stringed musical instrument. You can listen to the piece of music created for L’Orchestre Parfum by Fumie Hihara here and enjoy it together with the mystical scent of Encens Asakusa perfume.
This perfume opens with a strong smoky-woody scent. The note of olibanum incense gives its deep, smoky and balsamic aroma, while the note of pink berries adds to this scent some freshness and almost invisible sweetness.
Cypress gives its unique scent with spicy-smoky accents.
The heart of Encens Asakusa consists of a beautiful powdery duo of iris and violet, that is softened by warm, balsamic and a little sweet note of myrrh. White musk in the base of this fragrance makes it more sensual and frames all composition.
Encens Asakusa L’Orchestre Parfum is very beautiful, smoky-powdery perfume with spicy, woody and balsamic nuances. It is warm, enveloping and it creates a beautiful mystical cloud around you.
This perfume will be a great addition to the collection for those, who love the note of incense in perfumes and for those who love deep, warm and tantalizing fragrances.
Notes: Olibanum Incense, Pink Berries, Cypress, Iris, Violet, Myrrh, White Musk.
If it were a place, it would be an old abandoned temple.
If it were a color, it would be soft gray.
If it were one word, it would be meditative.
It was my perfume review of Encens Asakusa L’Orchestre Parfum, and I hope you enjoyed it.
