A French perfume house L’Orchestre Parfum has 5 beautiful and unique fragrances in its collection. In my previous posts, I have already told you about The Darbouka and Flamenco Neroli.
Today I’ll review Rose Trombone L’Orchestre Parfum, magnetic floral-woody scent, created by the duo of perfumers: Anne-Sophie Behaghel and Amélie Bourgeois.
Perfume Review of Rose Trombone L’Orchestre Parfum
Inspired by Jazz music, Rose Trombone is a very vibrant and exciting perfume. It begins with the clean and aldehydic scent, that evolves into a beautiful and tender note of rose.
Pear gives this perfume its juice scent, while the note of vanilla gives Rose Trombone its delightful and warm sweet sound.
The sweetness of this fragrance is not too loud, but very pleasant and attractive. Sandalwood gives this perfume its very deep and creamy woody scent.
The note of musk makes Rose Trombone more sensual and intimate, while rum brings to this perfume a little reckless note.
Rose Trombone L’Orchestre Parfum is the wonderful fragrance for women and for men with the main theme of rose. This rose is very elegant, beautiful and it has a powerful character.
The main accent of this perfume is floral-woody, with a slight sweetness. Rose Trombone has the soft and deep scent that envelopes and creates a very charming aura around you.
This perfume will be a great addition to the collection of rose perfume lovers.
The Jazz Age
L’Orchestre Parfum creates not only high-quality perfumes but also great music, that accompanies their fragrances. One of the most talented French trombonist Nicolas Benedetti created a special composition for Rose Trombone perfume.
You can listen to his deep and beautiful music here, and to embrace a spirit of the Jazz club in Harlem. It was the district, where the jazz music flourished and evolved. It was the place, where legendary jazz artists like Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Billie Holliday, Louis Armstrong played.

Harlem is the district in the northern section of New York borough of Manhattan. Since the 1920s, Harlem has been known as a major African American cultural center.
During the 1920s the cultural and social explosion took part in Harlem. This period was called the Harlem Renaissance, and it has given to the world many poets, actors, musicians, and others.
The beginning of the Great Depression (1929) brought an end to the Harlem Renaissance.
Unfortunately, Harlem has much more tragic pages in its history related to racism, mafia, crimes and other. And even now, Harlem is considered to be one of the most dangerous districts of New York.
Tales of the Jazz Age by F. Scott Fitzgerald, painted by John Held, Jr.
But let’s not to talk about sad things. Let’s listen to music by Nicolas Benedetti, smell beautiful roses by L’Orchestre Parfum, with a drop of rum for сourage and great stories by F. Scott Fitzgerald, who has declared that extraordinary time «the Jazz Age».
Notes: Rose, Clean Notes, Pear, Vanilla, Sandalwood, White Musk, Rum.
If it were a place, it would be a hidden jazz-club.
If it were a color, it would be soft brown with red.
If it were one word, it would be vibrant.
It was my perfume review of Rose Trombone L’Orchestre Parfum, and I hope you enjoyed it.
